MATT RIDDLE, COLUMBIA
BOARD REP TO EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
WHY - Much of my life has been spent outdoors enjoying the vast array of natural resources that South Carolina offers. Some of my best memories are from childhood fishing trips on Lake Murray with my dad, brother, and Granddad, spending time with my daughters in the woods of Kershaw County “just hunting,” or going for runs down the Congaree River Walk with my wife, Kelty. The mission of the SC Wildlife Federation is essential to the sustainability of wildlife habitat and conservation in our state and I am confident that the efforts of our organization will continue to enhance those opportunities for our children and future generations for years to come.
BIO - Matt was born and raised in West Columbia, SC and moved across the river to Columbia in 1999. He was a baseball letterman at the University of South Carolina from 2000-2003. After graduating from USC with a business degree in Marketing and Management, Matt was hired by AgSouth Farm Credit, where he is currently working as a Corporate Relationship Manager. He enjoys exercise, traveling, being outdoors, and raising his two daughters with his wife of 15 years, Kelty. He is a coach and board member at Trenholm Little League and holds a leadership role in the men’s fitness group, F3 (Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith).
