Sportsmen have always been at the forefront of conservation in the state of South Carolina.  Over the years, our collective voice has been the most effective and consistent tool to ensure the future of wildlife, productive habitat and clean water.  This tradition and the threats to wildlife and future outdoor endeavors is why the Camo Coalition was created.

The Camo Coalition is a grassroots effort to create a community of SC sportsmen that can protect SC’s fish, wildlife and sporting traditions. Its primary objective is to bring sportsmen and women of all interests and all types together into one common effort that can focus on the problems facing fish, wildlife, habitat and sporting issues of the day.

Our Purpose
The purpose of a SC Camo Coalition is to strengthen and empower South Carolina’s outdoors community.

Specifically, we  aim to:

  • maximize communications with and effectiveness of  sportsmen and women throughout South Carolina.

  • follow and take action on policies impacting wildlife and fisheries management, habitat, and outdoor recreation.

  • mobilize and act quickly to defend our outdoor traditions by arming our troops with the facts so they can successfully protect South Carolina’s hunting and fishing legacy for future generations.

  • Ensure that South Carolinians of all ages are given ample opportunities to be a part of outdoor pursuits.

The Role of the Coalition
We will monitor current issues facing South Carolina’s natural resources and the opportunity to hunt and fish in our state. As issues arise that need attention, we will send action alerts via email that will provide the facts so sportsmen and women can voice their opinions to the appropriate decision-makers.
